Our world is terribly sick, afflicted with incurable diseases and badly stricken, troubled and traumatized, especially with the recent virus called corona virus—Isaiah 1:4-6. The whole world has acknowledged this particular disease and has termed it a PLAGUE but Heaven calls it a PESTILENCE. This pestilence has stopped so many programs and events planned by man because the world has no solution and are now in disarray with our leaders on their heels. All this is because this pestilence, “without a cure”, which is from the Lord God, Him alone has the solution and if we don’t go back to Him, we cannot get out of this. I want to announce to our society, OUR WORLD IS SICK! And everywhere we go we notice pain, wickedness, hunger and sorrow. Why? This is because man has sinned, caused disgrace, and is still wallowing in increasing wickedness. Our world has provoked God to anger and He has stretched forth His hand over it. Remember that when King Nebuchadnezzar refused to humble himself, he was turned into an animal by the Most High. And many people today have refused to humble themselves to God simply because of positions which they hold, forgetting Belshazzar the son of Nebuchadnezzar who knew of God’s power but remained stiff necked till his soul was required of from above. Many in this present wicked world are as stiff necked as this king and so refuse to repent of their sins. And even when they confess and repent, they refuse to turn away from their old ways to seek righteousness. The Lord is warning and calling for all to turn back!

           What is going on currently is not of man but divine. There was no foresight of it and no one can really explain it entirely. This covid 19 till date remains incurable as a lot have corrupted their ways and gone astray, forgetting the God of their souls and the path of holiness. And during this period, we have recorded sorrow, rivalries, social vices, confusion, fear, lawlessness, crisis, scarcity, untold hard challenges and hopelessness on increase and man has refused to go back to the Lord in repentance in humility but insist on doing things their way. O What a hopeless and helpless situation we are in! Almost all our activities now are on hold; religious activities, educational activities and economical activities, with others probably slow and the world’s economy heading slowly towards Recession. All this will surely continue without intervention from the Lord God.

             God promises to hear from Heaven and heal the diseases of the land if only we will come in humility to Him for help—Isaiah 55:6-7. If we can but repent and turn away, the Lord will take away this pandemic and change our situation forever. We must come diligently to Him for grace and help to live His kind of life, so He can take over our situation. But remember that He hears the prayers of saints alone and so we must be holy as He also is Holy—Psalms 50:5.  Elisha was able to be change the condition of the “wasted” waters because of his position in God.  His ways were right before God and his heart aligned with the will of the Father and so when he called upon God for a change, God responded. The righteous is hidden in Christ in God in Heavenly places and so he is protected as his help comes from above. David knew this and so set his eyes on the Holy One for help—Psalms 121: 1-2. Jesus alone came to save mankind and He alone has the power to heal for He is the Greatest PHYSICIAN. The scriptures has made us to understand that He who made the eye can see and can also heal it of every problem related to it, as well as other parts of the body, so we must also understand that the same God who made the earth is capable of keeping it if only its inhabitants will surrender their all. The Book of Acts further explains that God so exalted His Son above every power, principality, throne and activity that at the mention of His name every knee should bow and every tongue should confess His majesty. Jesus while on earth wentaround doing good as He has power and sovereignty over all sickness, powers, kingdoms and authority—Acts 10:38, Matthew 4:22-24.

             Nineveh was a wicked nation with grievous sins which attracted the wrath and anger of God. These people had hurt God’s people and had caused great pain and so the Almighty was ready to send judgment. But before judgment came mercy with a condition. This condition is the same in 2 Chronicles 7:13-14. Now when Jonah finally listened to God’s voice and sent His warning to Nineveh, the king proclaimed a fast immediately and asked that all go to God with a broken heart for mercy due to their sins and wicked ways. This king also honored and reverenced God in humility hoping that mercy will be granted them and it was—Jonah 3:1-10. So we must understand that the situation we are in today is not difficult for the Almighty to fix—Malachi 4:2. All we have to do is go humbly to the throne of Grace to obtain mercy from Him who holds the answer. HE WAS AT THE BEGINNING OF IT AND HE ALONE CAN PUBLISH THE END!

      OUR LAND IS VERY SICK! HEAVEN IS SHUT AGAINST OUR COUNTRY AND PESTILENCE HAS RAVAGED OUR LAND… SCIENTISTS ARE CONFUSED AND WORLD LEADERS DISTURBED! But the Lord soughts for a man…one who would stand in the gap and plead for mercy upon his people… A man who would go on his knees to seek God in the midst of the prevailing wickedness and draw mercy from the wells of the Elohim…a man ready to give himself over to God entirely despite the age and time…WILL HE FIND YOU?
